Piano Moving
Spinets and uprights, baby grands, parlour grands and nine-foot concert instruments — plus organs, harpsichords and antique player pianos.
- Preparation. The lid and fallboard are secured, the lyre and legs removed on grands, and every fitting is bagged, tagged and travels with the instrument.
- Support. Grands are strapped to a padded piano board and skid; uprights are covered edge to edge and moved on purpose-built dollies.
- Access. Stairs, tight turns, balconies and crane or hoist lifts when a doorway simply will not give. We measure before the truck is booked.
- After delivery. Reassembled, leveled and positioned away from vents and direct sun. Let it acclimate a couple of weeks, then tune — we can refer a technician.
