About Us

White Glove Service. Unrivaled Care.

It is on our card because it is the whole business. Precision Asset Transportation exists for the items a general moving company would rather not put on the truck.

Our Mission

We guarantee the safe and secure transport of every item placed in our care.

That guarantee is the reason this company exists. Our clients do not call us because they need something carried from one room to another — they call because what they are moving cannot simply be bought again. A piano a parent learned on. A painting picked up on a trip that will not happen twice. The contents of a family home after a life has ended. We treat all of it as irreplaceable, because to the person who owns it, it is.

We take enormous pride in delivering top-tier, white glove service on every job we accept, and the standard does not change with the size of the work. A single armoire gets the same discipline, the same equipment and the same documented care as a full estate or an entire office building. Nothing is called finished until it is unwrapped, reassembled and standing exactly where you asked for it.

It is a simple promise, and we stand behind it on every mile we drive.

Our Standard

Precision is a method, not a promise

Most damage in a move does not happen because someone was careless. It happens because nobody measured the stairwell, nobody knew the clock's cables had to be secured, nobody thought about what a marble top does when it is carried flat.

So we work the other way around. Before a date goes on the calendar, we know the weight, the dimensions, the doorways, the turns, the floor surfaces and the destination. The protection plan is written before the truck is loaded, and the crew that starts the job is the crew that finishes it.

What You Can Count On

Six commitments on every job

We survey first

Nothing is quoted blind on a specialty piece. We ask for measurements and photos, or we come and look.

Written, itemized pricing

You see what each part of the job costs before it starts. No day-of additions for stairs we already knew about.

Trained specialty crews

Piano boards, rigging, art handling and crating are skills. The people doing them here have been taught them.

Documented condition

Photographed and inventoried at origin, checked against the manifest at delivery, so nothing is a matter of memory.

One crew, start to finish

The people who survey and load your property are the people who deliver and place it. Nothing is handed off halfway.

We finish the job

Reassembled, placed, leveled and the packing debris taken away. Not left in the middle of the room.

Questions We Get

Before you book

Can you move just one item?

Yes. A single piano, one painting, one safe or one armoire is a normal job for us — most of our work is exactly that. There is no requirement to book a whole household.

Do you handle stairs, tight turns and hoists?

Routinely. Give us the number of steps, the turns and the narrowest doorway and we will tell you what it takes. When a piece genuinely will not fit, we arrange a crane or hoist lift.

How is the price worked out?

By the item, the access at both ends, the distance, and the protection required. We put it in writing before the job so there are no surprises on the day.

Can you crate something for storage or shipping?

Yes. We build wooden crates and travel frames on site, sized to the piece, whether it is going into storage, onto a freight carrier or overseas. Tell us where it is headed and we will build for that journey.

Do you travel out of state?

Yes. Long-distance moves go on a dedicated truck rather than being co-loaded with other shipments, so your property is not transferred between carriers or held in a warehouse.

How much notice do you need?

A week is comfortable for most single items, longer for a full estate or an office. That said, we keep room for short-notice and emergency work — call and ask.
